She started her career by competing in beauty pageants. She won the title of Miss Elite in 1995 and was the first Arab to represent her country in the world competition in Korea.

Her father Simon Sakr was a doctor. She married businessman Rudolf Jabre in June 2008 and had three children, Jude, Sienna, and Vasily.
