ABOUT ZEINA YAZIGI

Syrian journalist, reporter, and television anchor who is best recognized for having hosted the weekly political based program Tahta Al-Daw on the Al Arabiya network. She is also known for her work as a reporter for CNBC network in Syria.

She earned her Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Tishreen University. She then went on to earn a degree in Media from the Lebanese American University. She started her career as a journalist with Reuters but quickly gained attention when she joined the Associated Press in their Beirut location.

She was named one of the 100 Most Powerful Arab Women by Arabian Business Magazine in their 2013 issue.

She married Syrian actor Abed Fahed and together they had a daughter named Leona and a son named Tim.
