ABOUT ZACHARY ALLEN COLLINS

Professional catcher that was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He won a gold medal representing the United States national team as a teenager at the World Youth Baseball Championship in 2011.

Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Miami , where he was named ACC Freshman of the Year and the winner of the Johnny Bench award in 2014.

He made his major league debut playing against the Chicago Cubs on June 19, 2019.

He is a native of Pembroke Pines, Florida.

He made White Sox history after catching Carlos Rodón 's no-hitter on April 14, 2021, which is the 20th no-hitter in franchise history.
