ABOUT ZACH LOWE

Basketball writer who has become a hugely respected name in NBA journalism for his analytically-focused work at outlets like Sports Illustrated, Grantland and ESPN. Additionally, he has won acclaim as the host of the popular NBA podcast The Lowe Post.

He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1999 and spent two years teaching at Cresskill High School in Cresskill, New Jersey. He later spent several years as a crime and government reporter.

He was named as America's best sportswriter by Slate in 2016.

He married a woman named Vesna, with whom he has a daughter.

He was hired to write for Grantland by Bill Simmons in 2012.
