ABOUT YUNIOR MARTE

Professional reliever that was first signed by the Kansas City Royals as an international free agent in 2012. He was later signed by the San Francisco Giants in December 2020.

He initially began his professional career playing for the DSL Royals. He was only a teenager at the time of his debut.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the San Diego Padres on April 12, 2022 as a member of the Giants. He recorded three consecutive scoreless appearances to begin his MLB career. Throughout the course of his professional career, he has appeared in over 35 games.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

He played alongside Darin Ruf during his MLB debut.
