ABOUT YONNY HERNANDEZ

Professional infielder that was signed by the Texas Rangers as an international free agent in 2014. He also played for the Auckland Tuatara of the Australian Baseball League following the 2019 baseball season.

He began his professional career playing for the Rangers' rookie affiliate team the DSL Rangers.

As a child, he played for the Venezuelan national team during the 2011 Little League World Series.

He is a native of Maturin, Venezuela.

He played alongside Charlie Culberson during the 2021 MLB season.
