ABOUT YOLANDA GRIFFITH
American professional basketball player and athlete who is best known for playing for the team known as the Indiana Fever. She is also known for working as an assistant coach with the Boston College Eagle. She also won gold medals at the Summer Olympics in both the years 2000 and 2004.
She graduated from George Washington Carver High School. She attended Palm Beach Junior College in Lake Worth, Florida and later transferred to Florida Atlantic University , where she earned the Kodak Division II Player of the Year honors.
She has worked as assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
She was inducted into the 2014 Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. She is extremely tall for a woman, standing at six feet, three inches. She also weighs close to 190 pounds.
She has a daughter named Alicia DeVaughn.
She and Tamika Catchings have both played for the Indiana Fever.
