ABOUT YAMA BUDDHA
Born Anil Adhikari and known to his fans as Yama Buddha, this Nepalese hip-hop artist released a 2012 rap album titled Ekadesh that included the singles "Think Smart," "Jutta Maa," and "Yo Prasanga." His artistic honors include WAVE and People's Choice Awards.
Before beginning his career as a rapper, he graduated from both The Excelsior School and Edmark Academy.
By early 2015, he had nearly 800,000 Facebook likes, making him one of the most-followed Nepalese entertainers on the web.
The son of Nepalese political figure Ambika Prasad Adhikari, he spent his youth in Dhankuta, Terai, and Kathmandu, Nepal.
He is a contemporary of web star and fellow Nepalese celebrity Promise Phan .
