ABOUT YAGUB MAMMADOV

Member of the Independent party who was the Acting President of Azerbaijan in 1993. He has also worked a professor and as a scientist and has been published in over 300 scientific publications.

He was a professor at Azerbaijan Medical University before beginning his political career.

He was also the Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan in 1992.

He was raised in the small village of Aliismailly, Gadabay Rayon.

He was replaced by Isa Gambar as the Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan in 1992.
