ABOUT XZAVION CURRY

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Cleveland Indians during the seventh round of the 2019 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at Georgia Tech . During his sophomore season, he pitched in the ACC Championship game.

He is a graduate of Benjamin Elijah Mays High School. He threw five no hitters during his high school career.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Detroit Tigers on August 15, 2022. He pitched just five innings and gave up three earned runs. While playing in the minor leagues, before his MLB debut, he played for a total of five different teams over the course of two years.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He is the oldest of four siblings.

He once played college baseball at Georgia Tech just like Matt Wieters and Mark Teixeira .
