Colombian sprinter who won a bronze medal in the 400 meter event at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.
She earned a gold medal in the 200 meter race at the 1985 Bolivarian Games in Cuenca.
In 1991, while attending the University of Nebraska, she won the NCAA Championship in the 400 meter race.
She married the Chilean shot putter Gert Weil.
She competed in the 1992 Olympics where Carl Lewis took 2 of his 9 career gold medals.
