ABOUT WILLIAM GOLDSMITH

Drummer best known for his time as a member of the bands Foo Fighters and Sunny Day Real Estate. Sunny Day Real Estate's debut album placed #1 on L.A. Weekly's Top 20 Emo Albums in History list.

His first band, formed while he was in the fifth grade, was called Screaming Hormones.

The demanding touring schedule of the Foo Fighters led to him contracting carpel tunnel syndrome.

His elder brother introduced him to music legends like Elvis Costello and the Attractions.

He was replaced by Taylor Hawkins as the drummer for Foo Fighters following the recording of the album The Colour and the Shape.
