ABOUT WILL HARDY

Basketball coach who was named head coach of the Utah Jazz in 2022. Prior to landing his job with the Jazz, he worked as an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs .

In 2010, he began working as a video intern for the Spurs. He was promoted to team video coordinator after a few years, then he became part of the team's coaching staff under head coach Gregg Popovich .

He played Division III college basketball at Williams College. Upon being hired by the Jazz, he became the youngest active coach in the NBA at 34 years of age.

He was born to Melinda Hardy and William Hardy Sr. and raised alongside two brothers, Thomas and James. He married Spencer Ladd Hardy in 2015. He and Spencer have a daughter named Elliot.

He served as an assistant coach under head coach Ime Udoka for the Celtics.
