ABOUT WILL ASHCROFT

Became a teenage AFL sensation for the Brisbane Lions. He was originally selected by Brisbane as a first round pick in the 2022 AFL draft. He was later named a nominee for the 2023 AFL Rising Star award.

As a child, he attended the All Saints Anglican School in Brisbane, Australia. At the time, he also enjoyed swimming competitively.

He is a third generation professional Australian Football player. His great uncle, John, as well as his father, Marcus, also played for the Brisbane Lions.

He was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. He is one of three siblings.

He plays alongside Charlie Cameron on the Brisbane Lions.
