Principal dancer for the New York City Ballet and artist with Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company known for her Balanchine style of dancing.
In 1981, she began training at the School of American Ballet.
She danced original parts in "Namouna, A Grand Divertissement", a ballet by Alexei Ratmansky.
In 2005, she married David Michalek.
She danced in Brandenburg, a ballet written by choreographer Jerome Robbins .
