Author of The Wayne Madsen Report and news journalist known for his investigative pieces regarding international affairs and politics.
He matriculated from the University of Mississippi, where he developed his longstanding interest in political journalism.
He became something of a conspiracy theorist, and once proclaimed that the alleged prosecution of Elliot Spitzer in 2008 was conducted by Mossad, a leading Israeli Intelligence organization.
His grandmother, Victoria Madsen, was a noted Communist and would eventually be deported from the USA during the 1950s.
Both he and politician Trent Lott studied at the University of Mississippi.
