Former MLB relief pitcher who played for the Houston Astros, Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees and the Atlanta Braves.

He began playing baseball professionally with the Yakima Bears, a Los Angeles farm team in 1996.

He was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1996.

He grew up in Wilmington, Delaware.

In 2005, he became teammates with legendary shortstop Derek Jeter on the New York Yankees.
