ABOUT WARREN ANTHONY POWERS
Former running back, defensive back and college football coach that played professionally for the Las Vegas Raiders formerly known as the Oakland Raiders, from 1963 tol 1968. After retiring, he coached collegiate football for 15 years. In 1978, he was given the Walter Camp Coach of the Year Award while he was coaching at the University of Missouri .
He graduated from the Bishop Lillis High School in Kansas City, Missouri.
He began his professional coaching career in 1969 as a defensive backs coach at his alma mater the University of Nebraska-Lincoln .
He was a native of Kansas City, Missouri.
He is a native of Kansas City just like Misty Copeland .
