ABOUT WANDER SUERO

Professional pitcher that was signed by the Washington Nationals as an international free agent in 2010. He was a member of the Nationals' bullpen that won the 2019 World Series against the Houston Astros .

He began his professional career playing for the Nationals' rookie affiliate team the Dominican Summer League Nationals.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Pittsburgh Pirates on May 1, 2018.

He is a native of Sabana Larga, Dominican Republic. He lives with his wife, Warilet, and their two children.

He won a World Series title in 2019 playing alongside Max Scherzer .
