ABOUT WALÉRIO ARAÚJO

Brazilian fashion designer and stylist known for starting his own fashion label under his name. He is best known for his frequent releases and appearances at fashion weeks in Casa de Criadores as well as for his specialty designs for celebrity clients including Adriane Galisteu and Preta Maria Gadelha Gil Moreira .

He first began studying design in Sao Paulo. After working in a fabric store, he was selected to work at Mundo Mundo Mix where he explored alternative styles in textiles. He was selected by Paulo Borges to join his team of nine designers at the fashion event "Amni Hot Spot".

His fashion label is headquartered at the historic Copan building at the center of the capital of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

He was born and raised in Lajedo, Pernambuco, Brazil. His family was composed of seamstresses and embroiderers.

He has collaborated with a range of celebrity clients and has designed clothing for Ivete Sangalo , Sabrina Sato , and Claudia Leitte .
