ABOUT WAGUINHO

Brazilian pagode singer turned gospel singer and religious leader. He is most known for being a former member of the 1990s group The Morenos. In 2010, he was elected the Senator of Rio de Janeiro.

He received his first record deal at Universal Music Brasil in 1996 as a member of The Morenos. He later left the group in 2000.

He received a Gold Record for his debut album It's Better You Return To Me that was released in 2000. He also received a Gold Record for his debut gospel album The Ring which was released in 2005.

He is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has three children.

He is a multi-gold and platinum selling artist just like Mariah Carey and Beyoncé .
