ABOUT VIKTOR MASING
A 20th century Estonian botanist and ecologist. He specialized in telmatology and he organized protection for endangered wetlands.
He was born and raised in Tartu, Estonia.
He joined the Estonian Academy of Sciences in 1993.
His son, Matti Masing, is one of Europe's experts on the behavior of bats.
He was born in the same country as psychologist Juri Allik .
