ABOUT VICKY NGUYEN
Vietnamese-American journalist who became famous as NBC's Investigative and Consumer Correspondent. In 2019, she moved from California to New York to accept her role at NBC. Her stories have appeared on shows including the The Today Show and Nightly News with Lester Holt .
She went to college at the University of San Francisco .
Her first television job was at Central Florida News 13 in Orlando. She also worked at NBC11 in San Francisco.
She and her husband have three daughters. She was an only child. She and her parents fled Vietnam in 1979. Her family stayed in a Malaysian refugee camp for 14 months.
She worked with Sheinelle Jones and Dylan Dreyer at NBC.
