Her first role was in the telenovela Infamia in the year 1981.

She won awards for her work in Miroslava in the year 1993 and La caridad in the year 2017. She enjoys traveling during her free time, and she fulfilled her dream of seeing glaciers in the year 2024. She has been described as "a chameleon of TV, film, and theatre".

She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her parents were Mexican, and she grew up in Mexico.
