ABOUT VENO PILON
Slovenian expressionist painter, photographer, and graphic artist. He wrote autobiography "On the Edge" that detailed his time as a prisoner of war.
He attended the Gorizia gymasium before being drafted to fight on the Eastern Front during World War II.
He took up photography in the late 1920s.
He was born in Ajdovščina, Slovenia, where he later died.
He and Geronimo both spent time as a prisoner of war.
