Model and pageant contestant known for campaigns including 2014's Made of Black for Guinness Cameroon. In 2017, she modeled for the Cartier Cactus collection. She was signed to agencies including MMG Models in Dubai and City Models in France. She has earned more than 650,000 followers on her valerie_ayena Instagram account.
In 2011, she earned a Higher Communications Technician Certificate. She studied at City University College in Cape Town, South Africa. She started her modeling career at K-Walk, a major fashion event in Cameroon.
She was named Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2013. The same year, she won Miss Cameroon. She participated in the Miss World 2013 contest.
In 2017, she was linked to Dubai-based photographer Wadih El Najjar.
She and Dencia are both famous Cameroon celebrities.
