Valentin Ivanov
ABOUT VALENTIN IVANOV
Former Russian striker who was the co-leading scorer at the 1962 World Cup.
He began his professional career with FC Torpedo Moscow in 1952 and he would play for the team his entire career.
He began managing FC Torpedo Moscow in 1967, a year after his retirement.
His son, also named Valentin Ivanov, played professional soccer as well.
He and Pele both competed at the 1962 World Cup.
