ABOUT UNO PRII
Estonian-born, Canadian architect who designed close to 250 buildings during his career primarily in Toronto, southern Ontario, and the United States. Some of these included Prince Arthur Towers, Brazil Towers, and 44 Walmer Road.
He was a cum laude graduate of the University of Toronto School of Architecture in 1955. He had been trained by the famed Eric Arthur. He designed his first prominent Toronto structure, 11 Walmer Road, in 1963.
He became known for the sweeping curves on his apartment buildings in Toronto's Annex neighborhood.
His family was residing in Estonia when he was born. His father was also an architect and builder.
He was a contemporary of Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi .
