ABOUT UMIT DAVALA
Soccer manager and former player who managed the Turkish national team from 1996 to 2004 and has since served as the co-assistant manager of Galatasaray. As a player, he had his greatest success with Galatasaray, winning four Süper Lig titles.
He began his youth career with VfR Mannheim in 1981.
He released several rap songs, including a collaboration with Kayahan, shortly after his playing career.
He was born in Mannheim, Germany.
He played under manager Fatih Terim at AC Milan .
