ABOUT TYRESE COOPER
Sprinter who set the 300 meter high school indoor record with a time of 33.03 in January 2018. He has also set national records in the 400 and 200 meters.
He attended Miami Norland Senior High School in Miami Gardens, Florida.
In February 2017, he set what would have been a state record in the 200 meters with a time of 20.44 seconds. The record was vacated after he made a taunting gesture as he crossed the finish line.
He has siblings who are also runners.
His August 2016 personal best in the 400 meters came within 0.09 seconds of the record set by Obea Moore .
