ABOUT TYLER SUMMITT

College basketball coach who became the head coach of the Louisiana Tech University women's basketball team in 2014. He previously served as an assistant coach at Marquette and the University of Tennessee.

He played high school basketball at the Webb School of Knoxville and was later a guard for the Tennessee Volunteers.

He received the Spartan Award and was voted Scholar-Athlete of the Year in his senior season at the Webb School of Knoxville.

His mother is legendary women's college basketball coach Pat Summitt . He married AnDe Ragsdale Summitt in June 2013.

He took over for Teresa Weatherspoon as the head coach of the Louisiana Tech University Lady Techsters.
