ABOUT TYLER SODERSTROM

Major league outfielder and utility-man that was originally taken as a first round pick in the 2020 MLB Draft. In 2020, he was named California's 'Gatorade Player of the Year.' He also plays the position of first baseman.

During his senior year of high school, he was invited to the 2019 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game. If not for being drafted, he had plans of playing college baseball at UCLA .

As a teenager, he was given a chance to play for the United States U-18 national team during the 2019 Baseball World Cup in South Korea. Unfortunately, he and his teammates finished silver after losing to Chinese Taipei by a score of 2-1.

He grew up living with his family in Turlock, California. His father, Stephen, was drafted by the San Francisco Giants during the 1993 MLB Draft.

He played alongside Brent Rooker as a member for the Oakland Athletics during the 2025 MLB regular season.
