Professional infielder that was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 34th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Seattle Mariners via trade on August 30, 2020.

He began his professional career playing for the Tri-City Dust Devils of the Northwest League.

He made his major league debut playing against the Washington Nationals on April 26, 2019 as a member of the Padres.

He is a native of Downey, California. He grew up living with his parents, Larry and Diane France.

He was once packaged in a trade that involved Austin Nola and Luis Torrens .
