Two-time IFO Light Heavyweight Champion who turned professional in 2001.

He was a star wrestler at Rochester Technical Community College, where he was the runner-up at the 1999 National Championship.

He made his UFC debut on November 22, 2002, after amassing 12 wins in his first 14 professional bouts.

He was born in Owatonna, Minnesota.

In his second UFC fight he lost via submission to Renato Sobral .
