Travis Paul Jankowski
ABOUT TRAVIS PAUL JANKOWSKI
Professional outfielder who was drafted in the first round by the San Diego Padres in the 2012 MLB Draft. He'd go on to play for the San Diego Padres in 2020, followed by the Cincinnati Reds , Philadelphia Phillies , New York Mets , and Seattle Mariners . In 2023, he joined the Texas Rangers .
He played baseball and gridiron football for Lancaster Catholic High School. He attended Stony Brook University on a partial baseball scholarship. During his junior year, he helped take Stony Brook to a Cinderella appearance in the 2012 College World Series.
In 2015, he served as the leadoff hitter for Team USA at the Pan American Games.
His mother, Kelly, played softball, while his father, Paul, was an outfielder for Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He married Lindsey Jankowski in 2017. He and his wife had three children, Bentley, Jett and Radleigh.
His Padres teammate Colin Rea served as a groomsman at his wedding. In June 2022, he posted a photo alongside Shaquille O'Neal and James McCann .
