Travis Head
ABOUT TRAVIS HEAD
Australian international batsman and wicketkeeper who made his debut with his country's senior team in 2016. He had previously represented the country at the U19 level, including the 2012 U19 World Cup.
He grew up playing youth cricket with the Craigmore Cricket Club before joining the South Australian U17 and U19 teams.
In 2015, he became the youngest player, at 21 years old, to be named captain of the South Australian team. He then led the team to the Sheffield Shield final.
He grew up in Adelaide, Australia, and has played for Adelaide's T20 club, the Strikers.
He and Adil Rashid have played together on the Adelaide Strikers.
