ABOUT TONY ROHR
Irish actor, entertainer, artist, performer, and stage actor who was known for his work in several film, stage, and television projects including Leap Year (2010), Mr. Nice (2010), The Double (2013) and Les Misérables (2012).
His first role was in the short film The Pale Faced Girl (1968). His first television appearance was in an episode of Van der Valk (1972).
He read the novel Ulysses on the radio show "Bright Side Of The Road." He was a member of the Irish Cultural Center.
He was born and raised in Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary, Ireland. He was married to Janet Revell from the year 1981 until she died in the year 2003. He had one child with actress Pauline Collins . Collins gave baby Louise up for adoption in the year 1964. They were reunited 22 years later. Collins' book "Letter To Louise" documents these events. Rohr died on October 29th, 2023 from prostate cancer.
He had a recurring role on the show Derek (2013) starring Ricky Gervais .
