Tonči Huljić

ABOUT TONčI HULJIć

Croatian musician, songwriter, and composer who is known for being the founding member of the band Magazin, which is one of the most famous pop bands in Croatia. He's also known for being one of the most awarded Croatian musicians of all time.

He played piano and had an intense focus on music from a young age. He studied music in school for many years. He helped found Dalmatinski Magazin (which later just became Magazin) in the year 1979. This sparked his professional music career.

He has appeared in several singing competitions in the Balkans. He first appeared as a judge on the regional talent show Operacija trijumf (2008). He was one of the judges on the second series of X Factor Adria in the year 2017.

He was born and raised in Split, Croatia. He married Vjekoslava Huljić in the year 1987. They have two children together named Ivan and Hana.

He performed alongside Jelena Rozga and Petar Grašo in Magazin.
