ABOUT TOMMY HENRY

Southpaw starting pitcher that was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks during the second round of the 2019 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Michigan . He and the Wolverines played in the 2019 College World Series against Vanderbilt University .

He is a graduate of Portage Northern High School. During his senior year, he was named Michigan's Mr. Baseball and Gatorade Player of the Year.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Cleveland Guardians on August 3, 2022. He finished the game after pitching five innings and recording three strikeouts.

He grew up living with his family in Portage, Michigan. His father, Thomas, played college football at Western Michigan University during the 1980s.

He played against Jack Leiter and Kumar Rocker during the 2019 College World Series.
