ABOUT TOMMY SWEENEY

NFL tight end that was drafted by the Buffalo Bills during the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was selected from Boston College . During his junior season, he was named to the First-team All-ACC.

He is a graduate of Don Bosco Preparatory High School. As a senior, he was named to the first-team all-county and first-team all-league.

He made his official NFL debut playing against the New York Jets during Week 1 of the 2019 regular season. His team won the game 17-16. He left Boston College with more than 1,000 career receiving yards, and 10 touchdowns. His first career touchdown in the NFL came against the Tennessee Titans , on October 18, 2021.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Ramsey, New Jersey. He is the youngest of two siblings.

He was selected during the 2019 NFL Draft just like Kyler Murray .
