Tom McGuinness

ABOUT TOM MCGUINNESS

British musician, songwriter, music producer, and author who was the guitarist for both The Blues Band and Manfred Mann.

He attended Wimbledon College and once played in a band with Eric Clapton .

In 1969 he started his own band with Hughie Flint called McGuinness Flint. He published a 1986 book called So You Want To Be a Rock and Roll Star.

He grew up in South London.

He began his career by playing with Eric Clapton in a band called The Roosters.
