ABOUT TOM MAY
Retired rugby union utility back who spent the majority of his career with Newcastle, earning 257 caps between 1999 and 2009. He also played for Tulon, Northampton, and London Welsh.
He played his youth rugby with Sevenoaks and Richmond before joining Newcastle in 1998. He made his senior debut the next year.
He earned two caps with the English national team in 2009. He's a graduate of Northumbria University.
He grew up in London, England and went on to be a rugby writer after retiring in 2015.
He was teammates with Jamie Noon during with time with Newcastle.
