ABOUT TOM MAHER
Australian women's basketball coach who became the most successful coach in Women's National Basketball League history after winning seven titles. He was named WNBL Coach of the Year for 1987 and 1992.
He was born in Melbourne.
He has coached Australia, New Zealand and China and at the Olympic Games.
He married three-time Olympian basketball player Robyn Maher.
He coached Australia's Sandy Brondello to a silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
