ABOUT TOM HENKE

Dominant former closer nicknamed "The Terminator" who won the World Series as a member of the 1992 Toronto Blue Jays. He was a two-time All-Star and was named Relief Man of the Year for the 1995 season.

He was born in Kansas City and was originally drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 1979.

He was one of the few players of his era to wear eyeglasses rather than contact lenses while playing.

He married a woman named Kathy, whom he met in college.

His "Terminator" nickname was given to him by Blue Jays teammate John Cerutti .
