ABOUT TOLL YAGAMI

Japanese drummer best known for his work with rock band Buck-Tick. He joined the band in 1985 after they moved to Tokyo and Atsushi Sakurai switched from drums to vocals. In 2004, he started his solo project, Yagami Toll & The Blue Sky.

He left high school in the tenth grade. The name of one of his first bands was Shout and Spots.

He has cited Back to the Future as one of his favorite movies. Gretsch released a Toll Yagami signature snare drum in 2012. He received writing credits on a few songs for Buck-Tick.

His birth name is Takashi Higuchi. His younger brother is Buck-Tick bassist Yutaka Higuchi .

His favorite drummers include Don Brewer and Keith Moon .
