ABOUT TIMOTHY THOMAS

Songwriter and one-half of the musical duo known as Rock City. They're best known for their hit "Locked Away" featuring Adam Levine . He and his brother have also written and produced for notable artists such as Miley Cyrus , Ariana Grande , and Nicki Minaj , among others.

He formed Rock City with his brother Theron Thomas in 2003 and they signed with Geffen Records in 2007.

He contributed to Rihanna 's album Unapologetic, which won Best Urban Contemporary Album.

He was born and raised in Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands.

He and his brother were signed to Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records.
