ABOUT TIM RICE

Award-winning lyricist who wrote songs that were heard in The Lion King and Evita.

He worked as a law clerk before attending the Sorbonne in Paris.

He won an Oscar, Grammy, Tony, and Golden Globe for his lyrics.

He married Jane McIntosh on August 19, 1974, and together they had two children.

He collaborated with Andrew Lloyd Webber on Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Webber writing the music and Rice writing the lyrics.
