ABOUT THORGY THOR

Born Shane Galligan, she is a drag performer who competed in the eighth season of RuPaul 's Drag Race.

Her first drag performance experience was in a production of Rocky Horror Picture Show. She went on to win a drag competition in New York.

She was the recipient of a Glammy Award for her hosting duties at FWORD and Saliva Tuesdays at The Ritz in New York City. She also won a LEGEND Award at the 2014 Brooklyn Nightlife Awards.

Her mother passed away when Thorgy was 19 years old. She is from Ronkonkoma and Brooklyn, New York.

Acid Betty was one of her competitors on RuPaul's Drag Race.
