ABOUT THOMAS SAGGESE

Professional middle infielder that was selected as a fifth rounder in the 2020 Major League Draft by the Texas Rangers . He was later traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in July 2023. THe very next year he was named one of the Cardinal's top 10 MLB prospects.

He first began his minor league baseball career with the Down East Wood Ducks. After 73 games, he was then promoted to the Hickory Crawdads.

He was once named Minor League Player of the Year for both the Cardinals and Rangers organizations. Both seasons he recorded a batting average of over .300 in over 100 games.

Growing up, he live with his family in Carlsbad, California.

He was once packaged in a trade that also included Jordan Montgomery .
