Thomas Pridgen
ABOUT THOMAS PRIDGEN
Drummer best known for his years playing with the progressive rock band The Mars Volta from 2003 to 2009. He has also performed as a member of bands like The Memorials, Trash Talk and Suicidal Tendencies.
He won the Guitar Center Drum Off at age 9. At age 15, he became the youngest musician ever to receive a four-year scholarship to the Berklee College of Music.
In 2009, he was included on Music Radar's list of the 50 Greatest Drummers of All Time.
His grandmother, Addie Thomas, bought him his first drum kit.
He played alongside guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez in The Mars Volta.
